Ahead of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystems Restoration, which launched on World Environment Day (5 June 2021), WLE scientists participated in an international forum – GLF Africa 2021 – that offered unique and compelling perspectives on the state of Africa’s drylands and the solutions needed to protect, halt and reverse the degradation of these fragile ecosystems.
