WLE is looking for a highly qualified communications, knowledge management, and engagement professional to help target, promote and disseminate our research in order to maximize the impact of our work in sustainable water, land and ecosystem management. This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone with the enthusiasm, inspiration and ambition to make WLE the go-to place for evidence, insights and knowledge on sustainable intensification of agriculture.
The selected applicant will work closely with the Program Director and be an integral part of the Program Management Unit. In this position, the person will take a lead in Phase 2 of WLE to accomplish our mission to build sustainability into global food and agriculture systems in a way that benefits some of the poorest and most marginalized communities.
In addition to working with the WLE Program Director, the incumbent will also report 20% of their time to International Water Management Institute (IWMI)’s Director of Partnerships and Knowledge Management to ensure that WLE's work is aligned with that of the Institute.
Applicants must have at least ten years of experience working in communications, policy engagement and/or knowledge brokering, preferably in a relevant subject area.
